Water Cells store water for various tasks. They are made by crafting an empty cell next to a bucket of water. The bucket is not consumed. They can also be made by having a Miner with a Pump attached mine into a pool of water. You may also fill empty cells by directly right-clicking a water source block, however this is only possible in minecraft 1.2.5.

- They can be crafted with Lava Cells to make obsidian:
- They can also be put in an Extractor to form Cooling Cells:
- If put in an Electrolyzer, Electrolyzed Water Cells will be created.
