Treecapitator is a mod similar to the timber mod, which destroys all wood blocks in a tree if broken with any axe, having the same effect as the Thaumcraft Axe of the Stream. This mod makes wood farming extremely quick and easy. (Note: If chopping down the large jungle trees, only one of the base logs must be destroyed for the wood to fall. This also doesn't work for mod trees eg. Greatwood trees, Silverwood trees and Rubber trees.) This will not work for logs that you or another player has placed, making it difficult to grief a log house even with this mod. It is recommended that you have magnet mode on in NEI, as logs can get stuck in rapidly decaying leaves and high in jungle trees, making them extremely hard to get to. However, please keep in mind that NEI's cheat mode (magnet, spawn items, heal player, etc.) is usually banned on Multiplayer survival servers.

Easy Legit Tree Farming With Treecapitator ( Mystcraft / Equivalent Exchange ) Edit

Things needed:

  -Black Hole Band
  -Alchemy Bag
  -Axe of your choice
  -Mystcraft Notebook
  -Descriptive book
  -Linking book made in overworld.
  -Writing Desk

Assuming you have already used some Descriptive Books in the past, place your Writing Desk somewhere, and then right click it. In this gui, put the notebook into the slot at the top left. Put any descriptive book that has a jungle biome/ single biome into the other slot. Now, switch the first descriptive book with a new and unused one. For biomes, add ONLY the Jungle biome. In biome control, put single biome. It is recommended that you have your world Light/Eternal day, so that no hostile mobs can spawn. After you have made that book, exit that gui. Now, open your Alchemy Bag, and add your Black Hole Band into it. Close your bag, and then open the second descriptive book. Travel to that world, and start cutting trees from the bottom. As the logs fall, the black hole band will cause the alchemy bag to store them. Keep chopping logs until you have as many as you want/need. When finished, scan the ground for anything that dropped because of decaying leaves. After that, you may open your Linking Book, and go home.
