The Gold to Diamond Chest Upgrade is used to transform an already placed Gold Chest into a Diamond Chest without displacing the items inside. When you craft it, just right click the Gold Chest you want to upgrade with it and it will turn into the Diamond Chest without displacing your items inside and increases the size of of the chest to 12x9 inventory slots.
