The Energy Crystal is a commonly used energy storage device which can store up to 100,000 EU for all Advanced Machines.
Newly created Energy Crystals do not contain energy. Before use they must first be charged in either an MFE Unit or MFS Unit.
Any machine that has at least one Transformer Upgrade can use the energy from the Energy Crystal (as of IC2 v1.65)
Also used to upgrade into a Lapotron Crystal
