Botanical Samples contains information about the Millénaire mod which is not included in the current recommended version of Technic Pack and might be outdated.
Botanical Samples is the name of the second quest in the Creation Quest section of the Millenaire mod. It is an easy quest, but time-consuming.

The following are the requirements after accepting this quest. Bring the Sadhu 2 Pumpkins, 2 Roses, 4 Saplings (of 2 different types), 2 Dandelions, and 2 Seeds.
Rewards[]
The reward for completing this quest is 128 reputation points towards the village you started the Creation Quest in.

The Sadhu tells the player the following at the Accept/Reject screen.
Your first task will be simple. I need to assemble a collection of the main vegetation types to be found around here. I would go myself, but I have vowed to stay within reach of this tree for the next three full moons, so you will have to perform this task.
I will meditate in your absence.
After completing the quest, he tells the player to rest a while before starting the next one: Exploring the Forest
