It can be used to retrieve unsmelted materials from Crucibles.
They can also be used to change the facing of certain blocks like the Arcane Bore or the Vis Pump.
A right-click on a seal creates a sparkling border around the area affected by the seal you clicked on. Another right-click will remove the sparkling border.
