The Anti-Matter relay allows multiple collectors to store EMC in one location. Place something inside, and it is transformed into EMC. This EMC can also be used to charge a Klein Star, run an adjacent Energy Condenser, or assist an adjacent Energy Collector in upgrading fuel items.
There is also a bonus for EMC collected by Energy Collectors adjacent to Anti-Matter Relays. A Mk 1 Relay earns an extra 1 EMC for every energy collector touching its faces. A Mk 2 Relay earns an extra 3 EMC for every energy collector touching its faces. A Mk 3 Relay earns 10 EMC for every energy collector touching its faces. The type of collector does not matter (Mk1, 2, 3 all give the same bonus).
This means that a Mk3 Relay with 6 Mk1 Collectors collects 84 EMC/s and costs 1,188,224 EMC. This tends be one of the most cost efficient ways of EMC generation.
